LANGE(R)TISCH - table sculpture
Sculptural dining table made of black anodized aluminium and an acrylic glas leg.

The Aluminium table sculpture – LANGE(R)TISCH is a clean and simple geometric interaction between two materials that is designed and produced in Hamburg, Germany. Black aluminium surfaces are holding back with its thin lines, while the massive acrylic glass cylinder is heavily reflecting light, because of the bold lens effect.

The design process took about 6 months and fortunately I was able to produce the entire table object with two producers who traditionally have their studios for aluminium and acrylic glas in the area of Altona. Altona is one of the most interesting districts in Hamburg, that is located near the Elbe and shelters a lot of smaller local creatives and craftsmen.

Morphine Collective is the name of the design studio I founded together with a fellow student one year after we graduated.

Morphine Collective is my design discipline side, where I work on brand design, but also interior and product design.

My design works are often located on the threshold between art and design, as you can see my latest product design, Aluminium table sculpture – LANGE(R)TISCH.
